Estamos Aquí, We Are Here
This project is my love letter to Puerto Rico and the culmination of my design degree. As a Puerto Rican living in Iowa, I have firsthand experience of the lack of knowledge in the US mainland about the island's historic and current events. With this project, I aim to address this issue by highlighting the events during the summer of 2019 and providing insight into Puerto Rico's political and social context.
